I am aiming to capture many images from various locations alongside London's famous River Thames at night time. The Thames that is often represented in photographs and on television and the like is the central part; Westminster, Tower Bridge etc. I want to focus this project more towards the lesser known areas of the 346km (215mile) river.

After living in a small-ish town in Yorkshire for a few months, coming back to live in the London city suburbs you notice people are somewhat different. People tend to stick to themselves unless in a group of like-minded friends. Somewhat disconnected from the people and world around them. A contrast to the strong feeling of a community in the more rural parts of England. I have aimed to show this and portray the gritty atmosphere of the London suburbs through these pictures.
